Wilhelm Fabry (1560-1634) - english edition A Rhine-Berg Surgeon of European Importance
In 2010 the town of Hilden celebrated the 450th anniversary of the birth of the famous surgeon Wilhelm Fabry who latinized his name to Guilielmus Fabricius Hildanus. In his memory Hilden established, in 1989, the Wilhelm-Fabry-Museum which is situated in an old and disused schnapps distillery; here the life and work of the surgeon is documented in regularly changing exhibitions of medicine historical interest. keine |
